Before stepping into the world of home inspections, I spent years working as a roof carpenter all over Sydney and later as a real estate agent, when I moved to Brisbane. Both roles gave me an in-depht understanding of the structure of a home vs its comestic appearance. These experiences taught me one thing above all: a property can look perfect on the surface but still hide costly issues underneath.
Now based in Brisbane’s northern suburbs (though originally from Parramatta, NSW), I combine hands-on trade experience with an insider’s understanding of how properties are bought and sold. My goal is simple — to help buyers make informed decisions and avoid nasty surprises after settlement.
At Be Sure Home Inspection, I take a comprehensive approach. Every inspection covers all the major systems and structures of a home — including the roof, walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and air-conditioning, insulation, ventilation, gutters, decks, driveways, foundations, basements, crawl spaces, and more. I also look for things that often get overlooked, like surface drainage, basement seepage, safety controls, structural integrity, and electrical safety – in collaboration with a qualified tradie.
